Through our project, we want to bring the children closer to the colorful spring. The children observe how spring awakens and thus experience how nature changes. The children will experience the difference of the different seasons and internalize it through the pictorial representation.
To get us in the mood for the theme of "Spring", we will learn a new song in the morning circle, "Cuckoo, Cuckoo Calls from the Forest", which will accompany us throughout the project. In keeping with Easter, we will make Easter decorative eggs. We will crumple little balls out of tissue paper. For this we use the colors that our nature brings in spring. These are discussed in advance with the children and additionally illustrated. Afterwards, we coat the egg with glue and decorate it with colorful balls made of tissue paper. To internalize the spring colors we have already learned, we want to paint a spring picture. In doing so, we will look at the spring colors again and discuss them. Going on a journey of discovery with the children and experiencing nature up close is the last step of our project. We go in search of spring. We want to discover different spring flowers, butterflies and fresh leaves. To gain this experience, we will go into the forest with the whole group.
